Once again, RodG thank you for helping me. I have some "partial" success.

That suggests you had/have more than one problem.

It seems that it sorts the attributes but I still get a redirect to the home page or page not found.

Is it you that can't decide which it is, or is it the software that is undecided?

It is kind of weird, because on my previous server I was able to do the reset while my seo module was enabled.

I see nothing 'weird' going on. It just means there is something different between the two installations.

So could my server setting have something to do with it?

I have to say that your server has *everything* to do with it. Not that that is helpful in any way. What do you think the .htaccess file is if it isn't "something to do with the server"?

Seems to me like removing the .htaccess file may have taken care of a redirection problem (probably the one causing the 'page not found'). A redirect to the 'home page' (assuming you actually meant ADMIN MAIN page) would suggest a session and/or security issue.

What do your error logs say?
