    Default Renaming Admin Directory

Hi. I'm on Dreamweaver here and when I go in and change that directory name, it wants to change all references to that name in the files that are in that directory (admin) (and there are quite a few).. Normally... when you change a directory name you must change all references to that directory name to keep everything working within that dir. It's common sense.. I thought....... BUT In all the ZC docs it doesn't say to change all references... instead just that one folder.
    Am I missing something here?
    Thanks...

Ignore what DW is trying to do, Use FTP (or your CPanel file manager) to change the folder name. When done, edit the file /renamedAdmin/includes/configure.php so that it uses the same foldername. That will be the *only* file you'll need to edit/change. As I recall, there are only three instances that need changing.

    Cheers

NOTE: In a clean Zen Cart v1.5, you should not need any changes made to the Admin file:
    /your_secret_admin_dir/includes/configure.php

as it is written to manage the changed Admin directory name just by going to your directory:
    /your_secret_admin_dir

Only on upgrades that still use the old style of configure.php is the change necessary for the new admin directory name ...
