UPS shipping weight less than actual weight - disagrees with shopping cart

Can you please check that in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... that both Tare Rates are set to 0:0, as you shipping does not appear to be working that way based on the weights you have on your Attributes ...

Also check and see that you still have your Maximum Weight set to 18 ...

Do you have weight set on the Product Weight as well as each Attribute?

Yes all tares at 0:0, and max weight is 18.

Yes. Product weight is 1 lb. Then added weight per attribute. When product weight was zero and I utilized only attribute weight, neither the shipping estimater or the ups weights worked. With product weight at 1 lb, the shipping estimator heading weight is correct, but not ups.

Product_Id 161 weight is set to zero

Attribute weight:
12x18 10 lbs
16x20 12 lbs
18x24 16 lbs

The way the number of boxes are calculated will take the weight and try to fit it into your Maximum Weight ...

So if you have 3 10lb items for 30 you will show 2 packages when you have the Maximum set to 18 ...

While that is not correct, that is how the math is done ...

You may want to test the Shipping Cost vs the display of the number of boxes ...

If Maximum of 18 is not a good choice, then try 50 ... see which gives you the most accurate Shipping Cost ...

Then turn off the display of the weight and number of boxes ...

Not perfect, but amazingly flexible software. And you've been very helpful.

One last question. on the shipping estimator there is a green bar with light grey text right above the available options. The text on the light grey is unreadable -- anyway to change either text color or box color?
