Template Switching

Hi,

I'm looking at creating a complete mobile version of my zen-cart site.

The problem I'm facing is that, apart from my CSS, I have many modifications within the PHP files that actually adjust or add to certain parts of my site's aesthetics - and having a mobile CSS will not help me on this little project.

So what I want to do is, use the following add-on:

Multi Template Selection - Registered Users

This addon allows a registered customer of the site to change the current template that is in viewing.

Would it be possible by changing/adding some code and having the add-on run as soon as a visitor enters the website - to check what device the visitor is using, and then obviously change the template accordingly?

Is there an easier way to do this instead of using the add-on module?
