404 set in my store not working...

I have missing page check turned on which should redirect to index but just shows as 404 not found how can I fix this please?

It does indeed redirect to index correctly. Example: http://qualityrefurbished.co.uk/inde...=bad_page_name

If you want pages outside of Zen Cart to be redirected to your Zen Cart's page_not_found, you'll need to set an appropriate error handling rule by adding an .htaccess file to the root of your site and inserting appropriate rules. Example found in the "extras" folder that comes with Zen Cart.
