Default zenid and static html pages

My client has asked me to create a couple of static landing pages that display various cart categories. Easy to do, but I noticed that when I grabbed the html source, links to the various products contained a zenid -- which I'm guessing is some kind of session id?

Should I delete this from the links for the purpose of the static page? The pages are temporary -- just being used to test some online advertising.

    Thanks,

    John

Followup question to this: I also noticed references to the BMZ_Cache in the urls to my images. Are these references going to fail with time on a static page?
