Dont show inventory when at 0 plugin

I know that you can change the settings in the admin section to not show items out of stock, but I am wanting to give the customer the option to make that choice since we allow backorders. Does anyone know of a plugin that will allow a user to choose whether or not they want to see in stock products only?

Modify the settings in your admin panel...

ADMIN >>> CONFIGURATION >>> STOCK

As far as I know, no such plugin.

products_qty of 0 means none-in-stock
products_status of 0 means product has been disabled, which could be a result of the admin setting it off, or by inventory settings set to disable product when qty goes to 0

The system presently only directly accounts for a check on products_status.
If you want to change it to also use products_qty, then you'll need to add your own custom code to the index-filters scripts in /includes/index_filters/
