2010 USPS Buildt In Shipping Module not working in 2013

Thank you! I guess I got a hold of an old post. Do you recommend that I install RateV4? Or should I just keep in mind that the rates may be changing soon? Any idea when?

You can install the current USPS RateV3 code which is working or you can help test the RateV4 code so that we can get it out sooner rather than later ...

I hesitate to do a test with my clients. :0)

So I am confused. I went to the download page and the first download says its compatible with my version of ZC. The second one says it compatible but I need CURL installed on my server. Since I don't know what that is I opted for the first download. When I read the readme it says I need CURL. I find this odd because I didn't download the CURL version. Is this a mixup?

The current USPS RateV3 for January 27, 2013 does require curl ... it is the ONLY current USPS shipping module for the January 27, 2013 rate changes ...

To see if your server has curl installed, look to see if you have the file:
/extras/curltester.php

and run that to see what the results are ...

I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean by "run that". Do you think I can check with the host and find out?

your_domain_name .com/extras/curltester.php

Asking your hosting provider is another good way to see if you have it running on your server for your domain ...

I found out I do in fact have CURL on my server. So how do I know which version to use? The first or second download?
