    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGESenglish/meta_tags.php' error in line 50.

    I get this when I try to login. Any ideas? The english.php is in the right place... It's there.

    Could you post your file, from the server, for:
    /your_secret_admin/includes/configure.php

    without your database username or password?

    It looks like you are missing the define for:
    Code:
    /your_secret_admin/includes/configure.php
    Line #58 : define('DIR_FS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', DIR_FS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/');

    That is not the configure.php file for the admin that is for the store ...

    It looks like you have overwritten the file for:
    /your_secret_admin_dir/includes/configure.php

    with the file from:
    /includes/configure.php

    these are two distinct files and are not the same ...

    What version Zen Cart do you have installed?

    Check that file:
    /your_admin/includes/configure.php

    and make sure you have the right file installed ...

    It should contain at the top:
    Code:
      define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.yourdomain_name.com');
      define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.yourdomain_name.com');
      define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.yourdomain_name.com');
      define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://www.yourdomain_name.com');

    Ajeh I ended up backing up the wrong configure file. My problem now is it said to do a update from 1.38a to 1.50 to get into www.example.com/admin. The problem is now it's still saying that and at the homepage it's saying Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Admin->Tools->Server Information to review patch levels. I did a update through fantastico. Any ideas?

    Updates should not be done with automatic scripts via your control panel ... you should always do them manually with the /zc_install ...

    Your Admin configure.php for:
    /your_secret_admin_dir/includes/configure.php

    Should look similar to this with your data filled in:
    Code:
    <?php
    /**
