    Default Attributes in orders appear totally randomly

    Hello there. I really need help.

    I have created products with 10 or more attributes.

    My problem is: when I place an order, the attributes appear totally in random order in the ORDER page, INVOICE and PACKING SLIP.

    The interesting thing about it is that the ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL displays the information in the correct order, the same order it appears in the website.

    I want the attributes appear in the exact same order they appear in the product page.

    Any advice?

    When you created your OPTION NAMES, did you give them a SORT VALUE ?

    The same goes for OPTION VALUES... did you give them a SORT value?

    If not, give BOTH elements SORT VALUES, (Use the field titled "ORDER"), then go to TOOLS, STORE MANAGER and re-set Attribute Sort Order.

    NB: for text fields there is no Option Value - so just give the Option NAME a "ORDER" value.

    Thanks for your answer. Here are my responses.

    Yes. The order is SILENCERS: 10, CHAINS: 20, LINE 1: 30, LINE 2: 40 and so on....

    The same goes for OPTION VALUES... did you give them a SORT value?

    Yes. I created a sort order for: SILENCERS OPTIONS: Black (0), Clear (1), Blue (2) and so on. CHAINS: 24" (14), 27" (15), 30" (16).

    NB: for text fields there is no Option Value - so just give the Option NAME a "ORDER" value.


    Yes, I noticed that. The TEXT attribute has no options, however I have given a consecutive ORDER: LINE 1 (10), LINE 2 (20) and so on, just in case. I have even assigned order numbers of bigger value than the previous attributes: SILENCERS and CHAINS.

    You can see this order is respected for the cart, since they appear well in the PRODUCT page, both option names (attributes) and option values. The confirmation email displays the information correctly, so why the email do it right, and the ORDERS, ORDER, INVOICE and PACKING SLIP don't do it correctly? They appear in random order.
