Default Cannot access configuration menu after importing from test to live server

I am migrating ZC 1.5.1 from a subdirectory on a testing server, to a root directory on the live server.
The versions of ZC are the same

I have backed up from the testing server, and imported to the live server.

I can log in to the live server admin, and all the menus work except the configuration menu.
    I get error message.

    “Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

The names of the respective admin folders are different.
Can anyone suggest why the live server is not able to link to all items on the configuration menu please.
    Any help appreciated thanks.

"Internal Server Error" is Apache error # 500.
It's a generic message meaning that something went wrong.
The actual explanation of the problem is not displayed on-screen for security reasons. Instead, it is recorded in the server's logs.
So, work with your hosting company's server administrator to view the apache and PHP error logs for the answer to your problem.

    In addition to DrBytes' response.

In my experience, and assuming the 'import' went without error, the most common cause of the 500 server errors has been due to the folder permissions being too permissive. Specifically, one or more of them have been given 'world writable' access (0777). As a general rule, 0775 is a better setting that mitigates this issue.

There are of course several other possible causes (as mentioned in the link provided by the Dr) but checking the file/folder permissions is *always* the 1st thing *I* check before considering the other possibilities.

    Cheers
    Rod
