USPS Module - Rates Calculate but doesn't show in "Available Shipping Methods" table

To turn off the cheapest selection for shipping, you would need to customize the shipping class in:
/includes/classes/shipping.php

with the code in RED:

// bof: turn off $cheapest selection
      $cheapest = false;
// eof: turn off $cheapest selection
      return $cheapest;

I have installed two modules which are giving hard time.

(1) Tell A Friend and Shipping Is FREE! customer can select this ship method and complete order with out filling email and friend name fields. How I can make these required?

(2) Shipping insurance in not appearing now on checkout when item in card have fee ship even customer chose usps or ups method still shipping insurance don't appear or get added but if item in cart does not have free ship on then shipping insurance work fine.

I was able to fix that as well. I have been looking for solution on this since last week and module don't have thread. Thanks again Linda for your assistance.

Will I need to install anything new to my ZenCart when the new postal rates occur?

I don't think so because rates are coming directly from usps server through API you create before installing this module.
If usps announce and require upload of new files then yes otherwise you just stick to what you have installed and rates should update automatically.
