I'm having two issues after upgrading my site to the latest version from 1.37 to 1.5.1.

When I copy from crimson editor or notepad I get these strange symbols  to pop up through out the body.

Also when I click to edit a product's information that is display on the public view such as product description it is empty on the admin side.

What is causing these issues?
