Trying to extend the descriptions in the featured products centre box

Hi Everyone

I have been struggling with this for a couple of days now going around in circles to what is probably an easy edit.

I would like to extend the auto generated product descrption in the centre boxes faetured products, new products, specials, I have manged to work out where to edit the file for the sideboxes but cant seem to work out where to edit for the centre boxes, have looked and list box contents and columanr display also featured prodcuts.

If anyone could point my in the right direction I would be very gratefull

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're asking about, but look at Admin - Configuration - Featured Listing - Display Product Description and set the value to something larger than 150. Same with New and All.

Thanks for your reply I have tried this but that alters the length of descprition when your are on the featured products page
I am trying to change featured products central box which occurs in the centre box cloumn

Got it sorted now the file lived in modules

When you say 'extend', do you mean you want to make the product descriptions display in the Featured Products area on the subcategory and product listing pages ?
