Change the contents of email sent to me on new customer creation

Hi,

I have installed "how did you hear about us" add on to my zencart. Now on new customer creation I also wanted the referral information to be sent in the email under the "office use only" section.
Which file should I edit for that? I could not find such an option thru the admin control.

Most probably because this is a 3rd party addon and they have not included this

The reason I asked this was because i wanted to understand which file ( that is used to send new customer email) to customize to put this variable in..

I guess i found that file - its email_extras.php
There one in my admin and one under the english folder.

I have posted the query in that thread, I was hoping if i know the variable under which the referral source gets stored then i can edit the email_extras.php and add that info there.
Not sure if this is the right way. Any pointers ?

It's a lot more complicated than that.
You'll need to hack the core functions_email.php file and add your custom code to pull the extra data again from the database and format the data to be included when the function passes it back in the office-use "extra info" return data.

yes Dr. Byte, I saw the code and got the point.
Each time a new account is created, i wanted to see, who referred the new customer.
I can get this info through the admin also. Just wanted everything in one place thru email...
