Shipping Page & Modules Disappeared

Hello,

I was trying to change the wording on my shipping page and suddenly the entire shipping page and module has disappeared. I have done this before and I don't understand what happened or how to get my shipping page back. Please help!

I went into includes/languages/english/modules/shipping then flat.php to change the wording. I save the sheet then when I went to verify my changes on the website, the entire shipping page is empty (nothing at all). I went to my admin page Modules/Shipping and half of the shipping options that were there before are missing and when I click on a shipping method, it does not open up for editing like it used to.

Can someone please help me get my shipping page back? Something went wrong with the modules but I don't understand what happened.

Thank you so very much for any advice!! Maybe I need to reinstall the modules all over and restart? (But where do I reinstall the shipping modules?)

Couple things to check ...

Look at your debug logs and see what the error message is ...

Make sure that you can see all of your shipping modules in your Admin for Modules ... Shipping ...
If not, then you probably have a backup file in the directory and these are auto loading directories

See if you have a typo in your file:
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/flat.php

Check your directories for the code and language and make sure you did not mix up the files ...

Thank you so much for your reply, Ajeh! I double checked the changes I made in /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/flat.php and I had an extra ) in there that was the problem. Thanks!
