Do I need to have the basic US addons installed; UPS, FedEx, USPS prior to downloading and installing your software? Do they work together with Dropship Core or does it matter?

CEON Advanced Shipper supports almost all Zen Cart shipping modules (with no modification). So you can and should install your desired shipping modules.

DropShip Core will only work with shipping modules which extend the new base shipping classes. This typically means creating a new shipping module or modifying an existing shipping module. While not too difficult, it does require knowledge of how the shipping carrier's API (especially for adding support for dimensional shipping to the module). The only pre-built (and freely available) shipping module for DropShip Core is the included example UPS module.
