Sidebox Search - Text Missing

For some reason the text in the search box is missing and it was there earlier today.. I can't figure out where to add it back in? I want it to say Enter Search Here.

Maybe with a link to the site. Generally, though, that text is in includes/languages/english/YOUR_TEMPLATE/header.php

And it's for the sidebox search not the header search..

In a stock Zencart installation, both the header and sidebox search boxes use the same default text from the file I mentioned . Have you installed any search-related mods or changed anything in the stylesheet concerning search ?

OH gosh.. I put in a direct link to the search button image in the tpl_search_header.php file (which worked by the way).. put it in my own template overrides. then decided to just go with pure CSS buttons vs image buttons, so deleted that file from my own overrides, but the tpl_search_header.php is still listed in the template default files.. I didn't even mess with the tpl_search.php file.. so I have NO idea why the text would disappear from that section.. Do you think that's why?
