    Default Please review this Admin configure.php, just can't get it right.

    Apologize for the newbie question but I've spent over 4 hours trying to get the Admin version of the configure.php file correct. Could someone please look it over?

    The problem I'm having is that currently on the Categories/Product screen, when I click on any of the Categories (I loaded the trial categories/products) the webserver times out telling me that "The connection was reset" and the sever is not available.

    However I can access the Product link directly (e.g. http://linux.bwalters.net/Wrx/zencar...es.php?cPath=1) by entering it into my browser manually. Thus, I'm assuming this is a configure.php problem and hoping it's not a server problem like I've ready about GoDaddy hosting.

    This is hosted on myhosting.com on a Linux sub-site at: http://linux.bwalters.net/Wrx/zencart

    The full server path is: /var/www/domains/linux.bwalters.net/docs/Wrx/zencart
    When I ftp to the server (linux.bwalters.net) the files are under: /docs/Wrx/zencart
    The configure.php file below is under: /docs/Wrx/zencart/WHadmin/includes.

    I'm assuming the lines that may be incorrect are:
    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/Wrx/zencart/');
    define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/var/www/domains/linux.bwalters.net/docs/Wrx/zencart/');

    I'm not clear on what the webserver directories are vs. the file system directories, vs. the URL

    Thanks much.

    Help us to help you by answering some of the posting tip questions.

    For instance, if this is a new installation of 1.5.1 that is NOT automatically done by some script, your configure file should be automatically created by the system.

    Ah - sorry. Yes this is a new install via FTP and zc_install. The configure info was not clear, one FAQ says the configure.php files will be created by the install, but I could not get the install to run without them in place. Thus, I created configure.php files in both include directories with info the best I could. I left the read permission 777 so does the install actually write into those files? If so they should be correct but ever since I did the install I have not been able to access any products. Once I click on Catalog / Categories, which seem to display correctly, clicking on any Product just hangs and eventually times out.

    This is not the norm for installing as the FAQ is correct that they will be created from the information entered during the install
