    Default USPS International Shipping not working

    I can get UPS international to show up but using a real Canadian address (of someone's business) does not bring up any international shipping options for USPS. Using new version - 2013-03-27

    I've tried changing the decimal places from 3 to 2. A companion website is using the old USPS module with no problems with international at all - not on the same server - but on the same set of servers. Using default USPS settings.

    Tare weight 0:0 and both are shipping from the same zip code.

    I am quite stumped here. Never run into this before with this version. Have I missed something?

    On the configuration for USPS did you check some shipping methods for International Shipping?

    Yes, ma'am. In fact I checked them most of them to make sure something would be right (left out envelopes). I feel really stupid posting about this!

    Can you post what you see in the right side panel when you click on USPS shipping module?

    If you turn on the Debug Log in USPS, are you generating any logs when you go to checkout_shipping?

    Do you have Curl enabled on this domain? You can check by running:
    your_domain.com/includes/extras/curltester.php

    I turned on screen quickly to get a glimpse so did see this:

    and the response must be something about what is being shipped but not sure - it was a lot of text.

    Also I did turn on the logs but didn't find one anywhere - not in logs, cache or module - shipping

    The logs are generated and put in the /logs whenever you try to get a quote from the USPS server ...

    As it has a lot of details in it, that was why I wanted to see if it was giving more information that what you just displayed ...

    The log is so big that it won't fit. The ending says:

    oh yikes, just checked the error logs: it's throwing an error:

    simplexml_load_string() [<a href='function.simplexml-load-string'>function.simplexml-load-string</a>]: Entity: line 34: parser error : xmlParseEntityRef: no name in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/includes/modules/shipping/usps.php on line 952

    I have gone back and checked to make sure I have the most recent version - comparing the download to the version number and it is right.
