It could be that your URL-rewriter is causing the troubles. Turn it off and see.

The one that has noindex,nofollow is doing that because your URL is invalid. You're actually specifying an invalid category.

Your product 109 doesn't exist in category 10. It is being told not to index because your URL is invalid.
But product 120 does exist in category 10 ... so it gets no robots direction instructions, because it is correct.

So, your problem has nothing to do with robots/noindex/nofollow.

Your problem is that whatever you're using to create your URLs is either creating them wrong, or you've hard-coded specific URLs with invalid categories on them.

Ok, think I have it. After looking into what you said about product 109 not existing I looked into each product and noticed that some of them had not been assigned a master category (I think this may have been from the import from OSCommerce to Zen). Once I assigned a master category that corresponded to the category in the url all seems ok now. The nofollow has been removed from the product pages now.

Thanks for posting back your solution.
I may add that in the future it's useful to include information like the fact that your data was recently imported from another data source, etc. The more "context" you provide, the better and faster the solution.

To be honest, it was imported about a year ago and everything was working fine until the upgrade from 1.3x to 1.5 which was not done by myself. It may have been an underlying problem that I had never picked up before or maybe it was my drop in rankings that made me go looking for a problem. Either way I am glad and grateful to have it fixed.

I am having a similar problem V1.5.1 but only with my Contact Us page. I switched to Classic and it was still in the source code.

By default that page is correct and not indexed.
Why would you want it indexed?

Well because goooogle seems to like websites who dont hide their contact information. Top sites in generic returns tend to have contact information in search results. I am sure you have seen it.
