Easy Populate, Help

Ok I had paid a member to help me with the installation of Easy Populate but have been unable to get in contact with him.

Easy populate appears in the tools menu but not in the Configuration menu where I need it so I can set it up.

Is there any Easy Populate guru's around as I'm sure it's probably an easy fix?!

Best solution is to obtain, if you don't have it already, the version of Easy Populate that works with your Zen Cart version or the version the paid help used. Then use your FTP program and compare all files to make sure they've been uploaded.

Lol, the whole reason I paid someone to do it in the first place was because when I touched it I crashed the whole thing

When you go to the Easypopulate tools menu, does it give a warning at the top to say Easy Populate configuration not found?

May not have been done. It won't hurt to run it again though.
Assuming it's the version available from zc downloads, do YOUR_ADMIN/easypopulate.php?langer=remove
then
YOUR_ADMIN/easypopulate.php?langer=install

After this, you will likely need to do admin page registration for the config if it isn't showing up.
A generally safe bet is to go to the last option in your configuration menu and have a look at the number appended to the url. (Unless you are happy to go into phpMyAdmin, in which case, go to configuration_group table and look for the easy populate entry to get the gID number)
Easypopulate will probably be one number on from this. To check, change the number, from for instance, 35 to 36 in your browser bar and see if EP config page appears. Once you have this number, go to Admin Page Registration and enter the following

Easy Pop Config
BOX_TOOLS_EASYPOPULATE
FILENAME_CONFIGURATION
gID=xx (xx being the number you just checked)
Select configuration from the drop down
Tick to show in menu
Set sort order (use number as above)

Ok even for me that wasnt so painfull, I now have a configuration menu which is more than I had before :)
