Hello All,
I have problem with installing Zencart on Godaddy hosting. On the section that requires database setup
:: Zen CartŪ Setup - Database Setup
Next we need to know some information on your database settings. Please carefully enter each setting in the appropriate box and press Save Database Settings to continue.'
ATTENTION: Problems Found
Connection to Database failed
Unknown MySQL server host 'Findata0217.db.11371640.hostedresource.com ' (0)
The database has been created on the host server. And i am pretty sure I filled in the correct username and password at least.
Also, one thing i am curious about is that i can only choose UTF-8/Latin 1 for "Database Character Set / Collation", while i noticed that people in other forum said they can choose MySQL....not sure if this is related to my problem...
Very frustrated now and I really appreciate anyone to help. Thanks!!
Please any help would be most appreciated...

The error message suggests that you've provided an invalid DB Server/Host name.

You are right. I have successfully connected via Godaddy connection rather than FileZilla. Problem solved. thanks.
