Free Download Pending

Hi guys,

My payment module is working ok. However, I have just tried to introduce a Free Download file. I have set the attributes, which I believe have been set properly and the customer receives an email to say that the download has been completed. However they do not receive the download as it is still 'pending'. As it has been marked 'free' it has bypassed paypal.

I would appreciate any observations as to what I am doing wrong here.

To checkout a "free" purchase, the "freecharger" payment module is used. And if you've got the freecharger module's order-status setting set to something lower than 2-Processing (such as 1-Pending) then the downloads won't be activated until you upgrade the order to at least 2-Processing from within the admin Order screen.

Reset 'freecharger' to processing and all is well :)

That change will affect future orders.

But for your existing order, you'll need to update it too, else that customer won't be able to download.
