Adding more then one image

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place of the forum for this question but I'd like to add more then one image when uploading to my shop.. Do I do this in attributes and if so how do I do it. I searched in the forum here but did not find my answer..

okay I'm a real dummy. I don't understand where you would upload the images from.. when your putting in the description of your product, etc there is that place to upload an image. would you then upload .01,.02 and .03 from their?? making a folder in images or just putting them in images with the .01, .02 etc.

You can't upload additional images in the product page in admin. You have to name your additional images and upload them to the proper folder as described in the tutorial.

I am trying to learn more about ZC product images and where to find where the product images are stored. I read the link information above and see the a_bugs_life sample gifs in the images/dvd directory and for the large and medium sizes too. My son entered a few products with images through admin and everything seems ok with them, but why don't I see them in these directories?

Is the proper way to add multiple images for a product using 1.5.1 still the same as the previous versions? I read about image handler too, but don't see that anywhere. Is that an addon? Do I need it? Seems images are handled through my admin screens. Is that the correct way in this latest version.

I found them! Looks like my son put them under images and not images/dvd. Which should they be under?

Where you put them is up to you ...

There is a way ... if you spend hours testing this ... of faking the Zen Cart Admin to do all images of a Product via the Admin *PROVIDED* the REAL Product image is the *LAST* image you use the Zen Cart Admin to load the images with ...
This means it *can* be done that way ... you have to work through the steps (and it isn't pretty) ...


The faster, easier way is two simple steps: 1) add the Main Product Image Only via the Zen Cart Admin ... then 2) FTP the other images to your server ...

Hi,

I advice you to install the Image Handler plugin on your site.
The Image Handler plugin allows you to add additional images to your products in the admin.
You will not need to use ftp for your additional images anymore.
