SQL - Dont Display Sold Out Specials

Hi All

does anyone know what the sql code is that I have to run in admin>install slq patches.

If I would like to NOT display my sold out products under the specials listing, at the same time I don't know if appropriate to ask another question in the same post?

How do I sort the specials by name.

It wouldn't be a SQL statement, but rather PHP code you would need to write.

Same, I think, for your second question - custom code.
