Default Optimizing layout for different browsers

    Hi there,

My site (www.asia-sell.com) was doing okay in all browsers until I made the latest changes to one of the header php files (the one with the logo positioning) and the define_main_page.php. I have the site the way I want it in Chrome and I've spent a long time doing it so I would hate to go to backup, and I am dreading creating separate files for each browser. Maybe there is a way to call each browser from the one CSS file? You see I was playing around with divs and adding divs. I was mainly using margin-left/right/top/bottom and float:left/right to move stuff around. I don't know if this is the correct way. Anyway, the following 3 things have happened.

    1. In Mozilla and IE the logo has been squashed lengthwise.
    2. In Mozilla and IE the Easy To banner is a bit too far to the right.
    3. In Mozilla and IE the slider and the Payment and Shipping writing underneath are lower than I want (which means they are invading the Featured Products' territory).

The main concern is No. 3. So if anyone in the know has a few spare seconds to help me then please...!!!

    B

Now I see that it only stuffs up in Chrome and Mozilla when the zoom changes. For some reason it scales properly in IE. Also the logo is no longer squished in any of them. What the bejesus is going on?

    Messy on mobile devices too.
Download your template again and compare all the changes you've made to find what has screwed your site.

Have you tried forcing HTML 1.0 on to the non compliant browsers?

    Cheers
