Are you using an old FedEx or a current one from numinix's site?

One reason I ask is, that before fixing this issue you may want to ensure that you are using a current version of FedEx ...

I updated to the Newminix version, and it's working fine. The problem with the placement still persists however. I'm going to try the fix suggested by Responsive. Again, I appreciate the help. Glad to have the most current module installed!

Glad to hear that you were able to get the current version of FedEx installed ... I had hear that the old version(s) had shipping issues/problems and that the new versions resolved these ...
