Just edited a small in thing in the language file removing somthing like "Norwegian language" [mer] "=more" and then I cant add stuf to the cart of the shop. This is pretty strange, every little thing I change I must upload header twice for the shop to work.

Removing and adding in files often result in errors. Folks forget to leave the two apostrophes (') behind or use the wrong syntax adding items.

You might want to stay away from the editing and try locations in the admin.

Yoho, I found the actuall problem, Filezilla does not transfer .php files correctly with standard configuration.
When I used a separate program for editing the .php files, no problems :)

Filezilla... Although it has an edit feature is probably 37th on the top ten list of editors. Often as not, a person misses the Filezilla pop-up that requires an answer in order for the edit to really take place. Best to download the file to a known location, use something like notepad or notepad+ to edit, then FTP the changed file back to the site using Filezilla.

This is not a problem I've ever experienced, and I've been using filezilla on a daily basis for almost as long as I can remember.

Aha. That'll be the problem. Nothing really to do with filezilla transfers, it is the editor being used, and the choice of editors can be defined under edit->settings->FileEditing

I suspect that you are running Windows, which will probably default to using the standard 'notepad' editor (perhaps even wordpad. Eeek). This editor does cause problems with .php files because it causes double spaced lines due to the EOL (end of line) differences between windows and *nix systems. Most people tend to recommend using notepad++ to mitigate this issue, however, if you have another preference that you know doesn't cause the EOL problems then by all means use that. It is just a matter of telling filezilla which editor you wish to use by default. (I guess this is what you mean by the filezilla 'standard configuration').

Hopefully this provides a little more clarity in regards to what is actually happening.

    Cheers
    Rod
