    Default Module Manager

This module allows the process of patching database while installing new modules (that uses this module) to be done automatically.

    Download:

I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me

    Hi everyone,

I've also installed the module manager and all of it's classes. My question, since there aren't any directions anywhere that I could find, is: How to use the module manager???

Do I just drop files that haven't been merged or copied into the catalog folder and let the manager find them? Do I put them into a special folder? What? How?

New to ZenCart. All help is appreciated.

Sorry for the lack of documentation, working on it.
You can go to Admin->Tools->Module Manager to manage the modules.

TROUBLESHOOTING: After installing itself, this module writes a file named ".keep" in admin\includes\module_installation, if your server doesnt allow it to do so, it may make the module attempting to install itself everytime. The fix is easy though, just manually create a .keep file there (after the module has already installed itself, of course)

Hi thanks for your quick response.

Do you mean to create an empty .keep file in admin\includes\module_installation?

I also have some questions in numinix.com's forum. It will be apprecaited. if you can please have a look at them here. Thanks.

Yes, exactly, just create that empty file.

PS: as for your other question, create that file first, then try again and see. I will try to prevent this in the future version somehow.

ok I created an empty .keep file and the errors went away. So then I clicked
Install new modules and got this:
Found and attempted to install 0 new modules.

Clicking on List all modules gave me this:
    1 yellow1912_store_credit 6 3.01c update

Does that mean Store Credit has been installed successfully? But when I go to admin > modules > order total, Store Credit is not installed. Am I supposed to hit the install button to make it work?

I think something went amiss in the readme file of sc module.
Let me fix it later. Anyway, normally the module manager will take care of all things. However, since this one is a special module (a payment module), it also requires you to click install there.

    Regards.

It does seem to work okay now after I hit install. Does the sc module still need to be fixed? Please let me know when your instructions are ready. Thanks again.
