Duplicate orders

My site just started creating duplicate orders for each order placed. It is only taking one payment but it is confusing my customers.

I am running: Zen Cart 1.3.9h
Database Patch Level: 1.3.9h

In a case like this, the question must be asked "What changed" ?

Sites never start to do strange things of their own accord. It is always caused by a change made by someone somewhere, and knowing what this change was is generally the key to finding a solution.

Do you have any clues or ideas of what this change may have been? Have you installed any new modules recently?

Yes, we need lots more info, in particular, any events or changes that has led up to the problem.

At the moment, your question is akin to phoning your local car mechanic, stating that your car has recently started to make 'funny noises' and expecting them to make a diagnosis based on that information only. It can't be done.

Yes, it IS possible for the mechanic to give you a 100 questions to further diagnose the problem, but you'd be saving him and yourself a lot of time by volunteering anything that may be relevant before the questioning begins (such as where the noise is coming from, engine, gearbox, exhaust, etc, etc).
