    Default changing registration form

I have trimmed down the registration form to just include:

    salutation
    first name
    last name
    email
    password
    password confirmation
    email details
    referral

Everything works to the new accounts and since we are a virtual download store with paypal only then we do not need the other info for customers to make an account

My problem is this annoying little comma that shows on the success page, I can't seem to find where to get rid of it.

That's coming from the address formatting function that displays the customer's address in the officially-accepted format. The output for that is done in the template for that page.

So ... question: since you're basically bypassing the whole purpose of displaying their address to them (it's displayed to them so that they're aware of what they've entered), why don't you just bypass the entire page?
Or, at least since you've hacked out the use of any address information (even for billing confirmation purposes despite what your accountant would probably tell you should be kept for audit purposes), if you're still going to display that page, then why not just continue hacking things out of it and remove the address block out of the template altogether?

Well just wanted to make things a bit less for them to fill out. Never thought about billing confirmation since they are all virtual downloads, like the plugins here but still some require payment to get them.

ah well, will put back and just take the red * off the things that we really do not need

    thanks

Nothing wrong with simplifying the form! As long as you understand the implications.

But if you're going to remove address stuff from the inputs, then complete the process by removing address stuff from the outputs too.

PS: I re-read my last post and must apologize for sounding awfully critical. I meant to convey the importance of considering the bigger picture, not so much criticizing what you decided to do.
