Default Admin Link to set down for maintenance goes to a WP 404 page!

I've just installed Zen Cart for a friend. I went to enable the down for maintenance and got a 404 page from her WP blog instead of the admin page!

I'd really appreciate any help as I don't know what to do as I can see the store as a member of the public but obviously don't want them to. I can get into the admin area and everything else seems to be there.

    Thank you.

Sorry tried to edit post but was beyond the time.

I've just discovered the entire Configuration menu in admin doesn't work. They all go to 404 pages in WP.

Please help. I don't know what has gone wrong as I followed all the instructions for installing.

Found another thread that mentioned a configuration.php file. I can find that in the c-panel listing of files etc and I can't see it in the download folder that I uploaded. Do I need to redownload the software and reinstall from scratch?

There are two configure.php files that are generated when the installation is done. Since your store is showing up correctly, the includes/configure.php is probably correct.

Unless you used a script to load Zen Cart (not recommended), you should have been directed to rename the folder admin to something you would remember.

Let's say you decided on my_admin as the new name. Then, you should find the other config file at my_admin/includes/comfigure.php. Copy that file here so that we can see the settings BUT make sure you x-out the database username and password.
    A little help with colors.
