First class mail not displaying for USPS Module

Hi guys,

I Just noticed the first class module isn't displaying for my site www.bocahydro.com

It is also returning prices that are too high and I cant figure out how to get them down, lowering the weight of products can have adverse affects when customers buy many things

but to ship a 6 oz package to California from florida its quoting 13 or 16 dollars when its really 5

shipping first class I think will guarantee a low rate , but why isn't it displaying

about them changing rates, but I installed the latest module ( last week ) and it should be current

first class mail is checked with weights.

everything else seems to work fine, even tho it is expensive

I just called and the web tools support was talking about a july update, but I installed fresh software / latest version and don't see why I would have this issue.

the low end prices are too high, how can I get these down? I cant tell you how many times I chose to not buy something from a website because shipping was too much.

How about flat rate? why cant I enable flat rate just for a few items? I cant globally enable it and have someone buy a 2000 pound item and select 5 dollars to shop it.

Let's things ...

In the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ... what are your setting that you see in your Zen Cart Admin on the screen?

Next ...

Go to your Zen Cart Admin and go to Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ...

In the bottom input box enter:
usps.php

Then, select Catalog ... click SEARCH ...

What comes up on the lines for:
* @version $Id: usps.php

I would like to add the module works perfectly for everything except very light things

basically stuff less then 1 pound.

to ship to my own zip , you can ship 1 pound or less for 6$ which is PERFECT But if I put in a zip of far away in the US it goes up to 12 or 13 bucks and the price never changes

I think first class will solve my problem but I cant figure out why its not displaying

I made 0:3 on shipping and packaging into 0:0

First class appears and im getting a proper quote to California now.

What is the purpose of having a setting that triples the price? I don't get it : )

The Tare Rates are designed to manage Packaging Materials, Boxes, etc. some need it and some do not ...
