Carlisle Fresh Template Support Thread

Hi Anne, thanks for this great template!!

here comes the most dumb of the questions in this thread... I'm configuring the template but I cannot find the "Carousel Featured Products Configuration" option right under Carlisle Fresh in the Configuration drop down menu.
(may be I eventually missed an SQL patch, but I am afraid of running them again because of the warnings)

Can you figure out my mistake?

mmm... I have replaced the language files to localize the template, could that possibly be the reason?

Hi Anne, i really love this theme. i have only one question that i simply can't find.
(new to the responsive i guess) I have my banners all a lot larger, in height.
Where can i change that? i just can't find it. ( its a first in your great templates that I have to ask for help!)

You can edit the includes/templates/carlisle_fresh/tpl_home_slider.php file toward the bottom height:250--change to your height

Hi Anne - I must have broken something. On your demo, EZ Pages work just fine, but on my testing site only the title shows up - the body is blank and the footer is totally missing. What could I have messed up? Please help!

Whenever you have a blank page or part of a blank page check your /logs folder for errors and correct them. See the FAQ's section of this site for a tutorial about blank pages.

Thanks Anne! There was indeed an error, it callsed the default template file tpl_page_default.php. I know nothing about coding, so I "fixed" the problem by merely copying my (customized) tpl_page_default.php from the Classic "templates" directory to its Carlisle Fresh equivalent, and EZ Pages now display correctly. Before I go too far, do you foresee any potential trouble that merely copying this file might cause someplace else? It was the plain, non-responsive Classic template that I copied it from...

You should not copy files from one template to another. If you need to restore a file it is best to copy from the template_default directory.

There is no tpl_page_default.php file in the original template package. See the readme.html file in the template package or the template package itself for a list of files.

Hi Anne - good point. I think I'm ok here, though, there was no tpl_page_default.php in the original Classic installation, either, so the file I copied must have originally come from the template_default directory. Now I also vaguely recall having the same blank body problem with EZ pages when I first started using Zen Cart a few months ago, I bet the code modification in tpl_page_default.php is the fix for this very problem and hopefully won't break anything else (so far it hasn't).
