Tabbed category listing on index page

Hi,

Is it possible to have the product categories in a tabbed manner ( the ones that are displayed under the logo) ?

Not sure what you mean by 'tabbed', but you can turn on the category listing below the header in Admin - Configuration - Layout Settings - Categories Tabs Menu ON/OFF Also, there are dropdown mods in the Plugins area.

I recently downloaded tabbed product display module and was wondering if something similar was possible for the main page category display. I will look at the drop down options now.
