    Default mydebug problem

    Hi all,

    I get a lot of myDEBUG-xxxxxxx.log files.
I deleted the enable_error_logging.php file from the /includes/extra_configures folder but I still get these files.
    Paypal module is not active.

Could someone help me in with this problem?

Thanks for the help in advance.

If those files are in your /cache or /logs folder, you don't want to ignore them. They're reporting PHP errors on your site. Post the contents of the newest one here.

The files are in the Root folder. Yes there are 1 or 2 errors, I will correct them later. For now I want to disable the debugger, because it creates 30 log files in a minute, and I have to delete thousands of files daily.

Example.: [24-Sep-2013 10:12:05 UTC] PHP Warning: htmlspecialchars(): charset `ISO-8859-2' not supported, assuming iso-8859-1 in /var/www/clients/client2/web16/web/includes/functions/functions_general.php on line 74

Zen Cart will not log "PHP Warning" reports, unless you've changed it to do so.
So, if you've got something creating log files that report "PHP Warning" messages like the one you quoted, then you'll need to disable whatever you've done to make it do that.
Of course, fixing the actual source of the warnings is even better, and will make your server run faster.

Unfortunately I don't know where Zen Cart was changed to create these files. Thank you for your help in advance!

Since nobody but you has access to your site, you'll have to determine for yourself what was changed. This is how I'd approach it: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Obscure_Issues

Thank you for the link, but I don't want to solve the problem, I just want to disable the module, that creates these log files.

As far as Zen Cart core code goes, those log files are generated by the PHP files you mentioned in your first post above.

So, either you didn't actually remove those files, or you've added something else which generates them, or you've configured something else into your webserver to generate them. Sorry, I can't help you beyond what the ZC core code files contain.

But really, fixing the root problem is always the best approach ... and it appears you're using an invalid character set, so switching it to a valid one would remove or change the error message.
