    Default Customer discounts based on ranks

    Hi,

    Is there a module to allow customer to have different ranks?
    (I've found the reward points system but not exactly what I would find most suiting)
    Based on them you could give discounts in percentages.
    1. New customer - 0%
    2. Customer who bought for 100$ - 1%
    5. Super customer bought for 1000$ - 5%

    They would increase at up to a certain percentage(lets say 5% tops) increasing in rank when a certain amount has been reached?
    Ranks could be changed according to the template.
    1. Peasant,Newbie,Soldier
    5 King, Master,General

    Is there something remotely doing that? It would be a fun addon and it would attract customers back with every new rank achieved.

    You have the built in Customer Groups for discounts, but it is not automated to advance customers from one group to the next ... you would have to manually move the customer along ... otherwise, you could build into the orders class something to manage the Customer's Group as each Order is made to move them from one group to the next ...

    I cannot think of an add-on for this, off the top of my head, but perhaps someone else knows of one or has developed one that they might with to contribute as an add-on ...

    Could you possibly modify the "Reward Points" module to suit your needs?
