Changing layout on main page help please

I'm using 1.5.1 with "A Moder Zen" template. ( http://outboards.billrauscher.com/ ).
I would like to make the customer greeting/welcome message to go on top of the "featured products" banner. (at least I think that is the featured products banner...correct me if I am wrong)

Right now, it is right below the banner. I looked for over an hour and can't find anything on how to do that but maybe I am asking the wrong question.

Please tell me what I need to do.

OH...I forgot to mention, the text below the banner was done using define page editor define_main_page.php. Is that correct ?

You will have to look to your custom template's files

Probably in the tpl_header.php file

As there will be a "custom" addition of the slider in this file if I am correct
If done well it will begin with a "BOF" and end with an "EOF"
Right now the define page code exists after this slider code and you will need to relocate it to before the slider code

Kobra...can you be more specific on where to look....I find nothing about sliders in the file you suggest.
