Changing the way the slider works on the main page ...advice needed

Thanks Kobra..but that didn't help. I read the read me file and there is nothing in it that even mentions the slider. I also went to the define_main_page.php. There is nothing there except for what I typed.

So... I still need to know if there is a way to configure the slider to NOT just pick random pictures from the data base, but instead use the pictures in "featured Products" or if that can't be done, is there is a way to turn it off all together.

It looks like you've turned the slider off. Good idea, in my opinion.
