Disabling products only for one language

Hello all,

I run Zen Cart 1.3.9h in both English & Japanese with PHP 5.2.17 & MySQL 5.0.95 and am wondering if there is a way to disable a product only in Japanese pages. I have a challenge with one manufacuturer who does not want us to sell their product to the viewers from Japan. I know that threre is always people who would get around it, and some may be placing orders via English page, but at least I can follow their marketing policy by disabling the products in Japanese pages... Any feedback would be appreciated.

You could place a filter perhaps on Products for that manufacturers_id to filter based on language or, build an extra test for Products being shipped to Japan for that manufacturers_id ...

Perhaps the Minimum Order add on Plugin might be a starting point for you ...

The trick is to do the test *after* the shipping address is set and not just because the customer's address starts in Japan, if you want Grandma living in Japan to be able to send little tiny Tim, who lives in the US an new crutch for Christmas ...

It would take a bit of customization to the code, but it could be done ...
