Buy Now button in place of "... more info" in a Category contents listing

My client's shop is a mixture of CDs and downloads for Geology examination revision.

The downloads, which are in pdf format only, form the content of the CD. When displaying a topic category there is a Buy Now button for the CD but all the downloads have a "more info" link. I assume this is because the download gives the product an attribute, but the only attribute is 'download pdf' so there in nothing to select from the "more info" page.

Is there a way to skip the "more info" link and replace it with a Buy Now button?

Remove you attribute since there isn't really a choice.

Actually you need that Attribute to manage the Download so removing it is not an option ...

If you look through DrByte's old posts, somewhere he posted a way to change Products with Downloads to work off an Add to Cart/Buy Now but I do not recall when and where it might be ...

Perhaps someone else remembers that one and could help out here ...

Thank you all for your help. I have modified the first three files mentioned in DrByte's post and the whole process works, from the display of the 'Buy Now' button, through ordering and to actually downloading the products.
