You've used the right term - attributes. Assuming the basic and holographic options are different prices, you might want to price your products by attribute (radio button in the product create/edit page in admin).

I forgot to add that my price's are also set by size say like a 5-inch red would be $5.00. When they hit add to cart how do i get the unit price and total to show the right price. I'm previewing my site as I go and 1 item that i set up always show $0.00 at the Shopping Cart Contents in the amount/unit/total but has "Color - Red Size - 4FT $65.00 that i put in

A link to the site would let us see the problem. Red and 4Ft are both attributes ?

    Your site won't load here.

As an aside, 'free' hosts are never a good idea, even for testing.

I'm able to get to your site, but don't know whichproduct to look at to reproduce the issue.

    Nevermind, found it: http://mousiegraphix.site90.com/zen-...4e4c23b7f1e650
So, how did you add this $45.00? Is it just text you typed into the attribute description? Or did you setup all the things that lead up to pricing by attribute? After adding the item to the cart, yes, it appeared as free.

yes it was text I typed in the attribute next to the 4Ft. Yes I know it appears as free, but what I need it to do is show the size's/prices for each size's I have. Like 4Ft $45.00 5Ft $85.00 and so on. On the shopping cart issue of it not loading for people how do I fix that? The install tut is sorta confusing for me.

I am not sure what problem Stevesh had with accessing the link. I looked at the link that was provided and saw that it went to the shopping cart (main_page=shopping_cart) and removed that portion of the URI before going to your store. So, the only word of assistance I can give related to posting a link on this site is to ensure that if you want people to get to the destination, that it is something anyone can get to. In your case, you would have wanted to provide the link I said I found, and then provide direction to have someone add it to their cart and see the results (no additional fee for the different sizes).

Now, on that note: You have created Option names, and you have created Option Values, and then you have gone into the Attributes Controller and added the various combinations of items to the product. While in the Attributes Controller of the admin, you need to enter the associated cost(s) related to your product/attribute combinations.

So, select your category from the top of the window (wait for it to load), then select the product that you want to work with. Click display.
For the product you are working with, select the edit next to the attribute to which you want to assign a cost.

The screen will refresh with the Option Value selected and you should see an area that has Prices and Weights, and two buttons on the right (Update and cancel).
In the first pair of boxes (Price) you can see a '+', in the second box will probably be a zero '0'. If you want to increase the base price of your product by $65 for this selection, then change the zero to 65.

Update the record, then check it out, when you add that item with that attribute to your cart, the price should be $65 greater than the base price.
Now as to the fact that it is free... It would appear that the product has a price of zero (entered through the catalog) and although the price of the item is not shown on the product page itself, it is still in the "title" of the product which reflects 1FUR-(1) - $0.00. So choosing the selection that would add 45 dollars would result in paying a total of 65, not 65 plus some base price. Either may be applicable; however, you may find in other stores that there is a base price (default selection) and then to get something "better" would pay an additional fee. It is my opinion that this is generally a personal choice of presentation, management, and analysis.

I realize that the site is heavily under construction, but maybe this will help you with your future endeavors?
