Downloading of plugins

GOOD DAY ZEN CART.


MY problem could be mundane but it is frustrating!

I have installed en Cart v151!!

Now I try to download some of the plugins.

I have downloaded - tried to - download quite a number of different plugins.

I navigate to the plugins page, select a plugin to download, click on the download button, and a file downloads.
I am logged in when I do the downloads
I attach one of the files downloaded. All the downloaded files are exactly the same.

I would appreciate your assistance showing me where I go wrong in the downloading of the plugins since I want to do customization of Zen cart.

Zencart does not have an autoinstall function for plugins. You need to download the plugin .zip file, extract it to your local computer and upload the files/folders to your Zencart server files. Most plugins include an installation guide.

Make sure you have disabled any "download accelerators", "download helpers", "download managers", etc...

I have DAP enabled - a download accelerator - and bar uninstalling it could not stop it from running!

ON THE SIDE: I used file zilla previously but changed to coffeecup as my ftp client with excellent results!

Following on from previous comments:

I have DAP integrated with Firefox,
Even when not logged in to ZEN I could not download the plugins.

However, I also use Opera without DAP integration and do not have any problem downloading plugins!!

Issues downloading (not just here) are fairly common with programs like DAP. Just say no and use the broswer's built in download manager.

No need to remove a perfectly good round wheel (which always works) and replace it with a weighted wheel (which occasionally results in the wheel not turning).
