"Download" folder maintenance...

I did a search about this but the last query was back in 2006! >.<

Is it possible yet to use subdirectories within the "download" folder to keep things structured or is that gonna break stuff?

My shop sells digital downloads and product numbers will become very large as time goes on...

I tried it in v151 with the directory:
/download/another

and on the attribute for the download filename I used:
/another/test.zip

and it seems to work fine ...

You would need to test it with your site ...
