Discount not being applied at checkout

ZenCart 1.5.1

Coupons stopped working a few months ago. Just now getting around to troubleshooting it.

The coupon is accepted and the following text is shown at checkout: Success Congratulations you have redeemed the Discount Coupon.

However, there is no money actually being taken off. This is true for all the different coupon codes I've attempted.

What are all of the settings one of your Discount Coupons that is not working?

Are you trying to combine Amount/Percentage with Free Shipping?

What Restrictions, if any, have you set on the Discount Coupon?

Hi, I have the same problem,

I am using v1.5.1 and shipping modules aupost and Free Shipping.

Coupons are send via email fine and also shows that there is a coupon as can be seen in the attachments but it does not show on the calculations. Shipping is not included in the coupon % calculations by choice.

Not sure what I am supposed to do with the 'Products Price Manager ' I want all categories to be included in the free shipping and the coupons .

Basically I am offering free shipping any time and 30% discount on first orders only.


I need a hand please.

What are your settings on the Discount Coupon?

Do you have any restrictions set on it? If so, what are they set to?

I can reproduce this problem in your cart however, I can't find any of the source code in your cart to display the ot_coupon module, does this happen when you change to the Classic Template?

Yes I have tried 'Classic ' and results are the same.

Can first report this re Forum. When I view the forum in Google Chrome I can not enter any text when I want to post. Impossible to write and all the writeable area is shaded grey.

And you checked your Zone for Australia to ensure the DETAILS are set up right?

I have added 'Store Pickup' so that you can test it.

In Zones setup as usual except I have deleted many countries I do not want to sent. I used Zencart admin to delete the individual countries.
List includes All Au states + all the additional countries I have listed

In Zone Definitions - Taxes, Payment and Shipping; I have

Zone Name; Australia, World
Zone Description: Australia > Australian Free Shipping Zones
Zone Description: World> All Countries except Australia

Australia settings: Australia > All Zones (which lists all the AU states)
All countries Settings: All countries > All zones

Change this setting to 0:
Uses per Coupon:1

If you have that set to 1, after the first person uses it then it is not valid any longer ...
