Fine tuning the cart

Above is a screenshot from my cart. What I do not like is that "update" quantity button is not working... I have read about the bug issue with custom templates. But if I have to lacks the function I would like to have a properly looking cart instead of the one I show you above. So I would like to remove: empty space between "Qty." number and product image, empty check box under the red x button at right, remove "update" button next to "continue shopping" button. How to do these please? Thanx a lot!

Re: Fine tuning the cart

There's no way anyone here can answer your questions from a screenshot. We'll need a link to the site.

Re: Fine tuning the cart

It looks like the bottom of your page (footer area) has disappeared too?

Re: Fine tuning the cart

You say the "update" button is not working... it appears you have set all of your products to a max quantity of 1, so there is no changing that number in the cart. The "empty check box" actually does function in selecting items to delete from the cart; clicking update after checking an item removes that item. If you have only virtual products, maybe you want to eliminate the quantity display from the cart.

Re: Fine tuning the cart

Okay, then perhaps your template does have the quantity display/input messed up. That would be the thing to fix, rather than finishing breaking it...

Re: Fine tuning the cart

I noticed that there is no quantity box in the product info page. Is this a template built specifically for downloadable product sales?

Re: Fine tuning the cart

This is a premium template made by zenflover < http://www.zenflavor.com/premium-1 >. I do not use any downloadable products but physical only. Please specifically define which pages and settings to check as admin. Many thanks indeed!

Re: Fine tuning the cart

The template demo has the standard quantity boxes active on product listing, product info and shopping cart pages. Something about your settings must have changed this. I don't have time right now to look up all the relevant settings, but inspect carefully your Configuration > Product Listing and Product info pages, and possibly Layout Settings.

Re: Fine tuning the cart

Thanks for checking. Unfortunately I do not know what values to set to get back normal operation.
