Configuring Paypal with a Personal Premier account

I used to have a business account, in my old Paypal but now I only have a Personal Premier account.
I have been googling and searching inside the forum and couldn't get the exact steps to configure a Personal Premier account, because I don't have the same profile options in Paypal, I can configure IPN, and the IPN test went through but there's some information that confuses me about the proper way to configure it. For instance even with a Premier account Paypal gave API credentials? Then I don't have an option in my profile mentioning this >>>

in Website Payments Preferences set your Automatic Return URL to:

... and click "install" above to enable PayPal Standard support... and "edit" to tell Zen Cart your PayPal settings.

so without adding that even with IPN activated in Paypal, what's missing to make it work?

Please note I am starting over with a fresh new store. I am on a VPS whm, and CAN'T have a business account, so I need to stick with Premier.

In North America PayPal no longer offers a "premier" account. They only have Personal or Business. And only Business accounts can be connected to online stores.

If you've got a Premier account (either via another country or grandfathered in from when PayPal offered those in N.A. in years gone by), then you will probably need to contact PayPal Support for assistance in obtaining the credentials you require.

Please tell me what VPS whm has to do with you not being able to have a PayPal business account? They are 2 separate entities and I don't see the correlation.

Not sure what you're asking. Many thousands of Zenners use VPNs and Paypal without incident. Who told you you couldn't, and what was their reasoning ?
