Unfortunately from the sounds of the "disaster" you sort of are. But may not be the last time. :).

But also, because you need to make so many changes, that's why I suggested a tool like easy populate. You can add and change attributes quickly and with confidence.

You could also make broad sweeping changes with SQL or your mySQLadmin, but you need to really know what you are doing to not muck it up. :)

I don't even have the products in a spreadsheet in order to use easy populate. Or am I making it more difficult than it is? As I usually do.

Part of easy populate is for it to export the data in your database to be used in a spreadsheet. (Something of a chicken/egg thing). There are several versions out there, each with it's own strengths (and weaknesses), but right now you just need something that will work with attributes. Almsot willing to say doesn't matter which, cuz you just need to stay online and get your condition(s) fixed.

But that too would be haphazard of me. Do a little reading, download one or more, look through the readme to see if it/they handle attributes and also look at any requirements such as must use excel, can't use excel, if can't use excel what do you need instead, etc. But really just need you to get your store the way it should be. Can always uninstall the plug-in later and use something different if need be/desired.

Visit the "third" page of the site in my signature, and we'll see where to go from there.

Almost hate to make another thread to support the discussion as that would be unrelated to this thread.
