Custom Product Filters

Hopefully someone can shed some light.

I have duplicated the "music" filters for some custom product filtering (as I have done many times) and all is working well except this time:

The products image "isn't" the correct image "only" after the "Filter Results by:" manufacturer filter is used.

music filter:
index&typefilter&yadayada_id

music filter (then) manufacturers filter:
index&yadayada_id&yadayada_id&typefilter&sort&filter_id&alpha_filter

both above work correctly

custom filter:
index&typefilter&yadayada_id

custom filter (then) manufacturers filter:
index&yadayada_id&typefilter&sort&filter_id&alpha_filter

The custom filer works correctly

The custom filter (then) manufacturers filter doesn't
it is removing the second or maybe the first yadayada_id

I am sure I have confused everyone. LOL

Any Ideas?

I figured it out.
